If you have Battlefield 6 you probably already have Redsec downloaded, you’ll just have to wait to play it

You can now download Redsec, the free-to-play Battlefield 6 Battle Royale. It’s available for download on PC, PS5 and the Xbox store and, while it’s a stand alone BR experience that exists outside Battlefield 6 game, if you do have that game you will probably already have Redsec installed. If you’re looking to download it now, or want to check if you already have it, here’s what going on with the new BR6 BR.

How to download Redsec

Redsec is a free-to-play game so you don’t need Battlefield 6 to play it. Currently you can download it on PC, PlayStation and XBox at these links:

Redsec on Steam

Redsec on PS5

Redsec on Xbox Store

If you have Battlefield 6 then Redsec arrived as part of the Battlefield 6 update 1.1.1.0, (more on that in the Battlefield 6 roadmap). That added all the Season 1 content, including Redsec, to the main game before it was released. So if you have Battlefield 6 and you want to check, then you can go into Settings > System > Set up > Install/Uninstall and see the base game as an 8.4GB download, as well as an additional 28GB of highres textures.
