Reneé Rapp is coming down under for the Australian Open

It’s game, set, match, LOVE as lesbian singer Reneè Rapp has queer fans squealing with delight as she makes her Aussie debut at the Australian Open AO Live.
Earlier this year, Kesha served at the Australian Open, closing out her set with pride flags and drag as a powerful message of inclusion.
In 2026, AO Live is turning the temperature up.
Reneé Rapp has been announced as the fifth and final headliner for AO LIVE Presents at the Australian Open.
The first time she will be performing in Australia.
AO Live is the music and entertainment festival integrated into the Australian Open tennis tournament in Melbourne.
Already announced in the 2026 lineup are The Kid LAROI, Peggy Gou, Spacey Jane, The Veronicas and SOFI TUKKER.
“The AO is so excited to bring Reneé Rapp to Melbourne.” AO Entertainment Experience Producer Gus Carmichael said.
“Especially as it’s her first time performing in Australia.
“She’s one of the most exciting young artists in the world right now, and we know fans will be so excited to see her in her Australian debut.”
Rapp is currently on tour and by the time she lands in Aus will be fresh from sold-out shows across North America and Europe.
The multi-talented artist will perform in John Cain Arena on Saturday, 31 January, ahead of the women’s final.
‘Biggest and most diverse AO LIVE Presents line-up yet’
Rapp’s 2023 debut album Snow Angel earned the largest first-week sales for a female artist’s debut album in the U.S. that year.
She continues to showcase her powerhouse vocals and emotionally-charged songwriting as her music career sores.
But Rapp is also powerfully visible as a lesbian entertainer who shares her voice proudly.
With more than 1.4 billion streams across her catalogue and appearances at Coachella, Lollapalooza and Governors Ball, Rapp has quickly become one of pop’s most compelling new voices.
“She’s an incredible performer with huge global momentum,” Carmichael said.
“From Broadway to films, sold-out tours and a debut album that’s made waves worldwide.”
“Her addition completes what’s now our biggest and most diverse AO LIVE Presents line-up yet.”
AO LIVE opens on Wednesday, 28th January with an exclusive Australian show from The Kid LAROI.
Followed by indie-rock favourites Spacey Jane on Thursday, 29th January.
AO Pride Day on Friday, 30th January, and will feature The Veronicas alongside Grammy-nominated duo SOFI TUKKER.
DJ and producer Peggy Gou will close out the event on Sunday, 1st February, following the men’s final.
Tickets for Reneé Rapp will go on sale at midday on Thursday, 30th October.
