Ghost of Tsushima: Patch 8 Update Adds AMD FSR 4 Support, Makes the Single-Player Campaign ‘Steam Deck Verified’, More

Sucker Punch Productions has rolled out patch 8 of Ghost of Tsushima which makes the game Steam Deck verified, adds in AMD FSR 4 support and more.

According to Ghost of Tsushima’s Steam page, with the new the patch, the single-player mode of the game is now Steam Deck verified and the online multiplayer Legends mode is now a separate DLC on Steam.

The DLC is available for no additional cost for players who already own or are going to purchase Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut.

Adding further, the new patch brings in a bunch of user interface optimisations specifically for the Steam Deck. Patch 8 also brings in a Steam Deck graphic preset.

The new patch also updates AMD FSR version to 3.1.4. When players enable AMD FSR 4 in the driver, the game will now display the new version in the menu and in the launcher.

Apart from that, the new patch takes care of a number of bugs, such as an audio bug which used to take place for some players during the Eternal Blue Sky mission. It also optimises performance, improves upon the stability and fixed a crash related to Steam Input.

Sucker Punch recently launched a new entry in the Ghost franchise, Ghost of Yotei. Ghost of Yotei’s creative director Nate Fox called the game a “spiritual sequel” to Ghost of Tsushima.

However, a recent report by an analytics firm says that sales for Ghost of Yotei are a “little bit slower” compared to Ghost of Tsushima’s.
