Selling Sunset star Nicole Young made a brutal comment about Chrishell Stause’s parents in the latest series

Selling Sunset’s Nicole Young left her co-stars shocked when she referenced Chrishell Stause’s deceased parents during a fierce row.
The popular programme returned for its ninth series today (October 29) and showcased a vicious confrontation when the stars assembled for dinner, in episode two.
Nicole, 39, and Chrishell, 44, started rowing about the former circulating gossip that Emma Hernan had an affair with a married man.
As the atmosphere became heated, Chrishell defended her previous accusations about Nicole’s supposed drug use, reports the Mirror. To which the 39-year-old hit back: “Honey, you’re confusing me with your parents, okay?”
“You seem to be obsessed with drugs.”

The remark left the entire table stunned, as they highlighted that Chrishell’s parents are deceased. Later in the programme, Nicole was dismissed from the office for her “below the belt” comment.
Long-time viewers will recall that Chrishell has been candid about her parents’ deaths and, as Nicole mentioned, their past drug use. Looking back on the savage row, Chrishell said: “The way she brought [up] that my parents had done drugs before, made it sound like they died from drugs.
“First of all, yes, my parents have done drugs they grew up in the f****** seventies okay?”

Chrishell’s father, Jeff, tragically passed away in April 2019 after a battle with lung cancer, and her mother, Ranae, succumbed to the same disease in July 2020. Neither of them died due to drug use, but the actress has previously revealed that they struggled with addiction.
The reality star shared her grief over losing both parents on Instagram. Speaking about her father’s death, she wrote: “I grew up in an unconventional family and my dad was a drummer – the heartbeat of the music.
“Today we lost the heartbeat of our family but I am happy knowing he took his music to heaven. It just got a lot more rock and roll up there. We love you so much.”
Chrishell was adopted at birth and has been candid about her upbringing in an “unconventional” household.

The heartbreak she experienced in 2019 resurfaced in February 2020, when her mum was also diagnosed with lung cancer and given only a few months to live.
Due to the COVID quarantine, the former Days of Our Lives star was unable to visit her mum during this time, but disclosed that their bond strengthened in her final days as they spoke on the phone daily.
Just over a year after losing her dad, Chrishell penned a tribute for her mother.
“Absolutely heart-breaking watching you take your last laboured breath, but there is a peace knowing you two are together again, free from the pain that plagued your time here,” she said.
