Election Day 2025: Where to vote in NYC, NJ and CT: Polling hours, how to report problems

NEW YORK (WABC) — Tuesday is Election Day and all eyes are on the races for New York City mayor and New Jersey governor.

This is what voters need to know before they head to the polls on Tuesday.

NEW YORK CITY

Poll sites are open from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. If you are in line by 9 p.m., you can stay in line to cast a ballot.

Always look up your poll site before heading out to vote as they can change from election to election.

And if you aren’t sure if you are registered to vote, visit the Board of Election’s registered voter search.

You can also report a problem with a poll site or poll worker by calling (866) 868-3692.

NEW JERSEY

Poll sites are open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m. on Election Day.

Voters can click here to find their polling location.

And visit the New Jersey Voter Information Portal to search for your voter registration record.

For any issues voting or at polling sites, you can call the New Jersey Voter Information and Assistance Line at 1-877-NJVOTER (1-877-658-6837).

CONNECTICUT

Polls in Connecticut are open from 6 a.m. until 8 p.m.

Anyone standing in line at the polls at 8 p.m. will be allowed to cast a vote.

Anyone encountering problems on Election Day should contact the Election Day Hotline at 1-866-733-2463 or send an email to elections@ct.gov.
