One of the most exciting aspects of being an athlete at Notre Dame is the constant use to alternate jerseys and logo’s which the Irish have used plenty of this fall.
The football team has multiple games with special uniforms like when they wore green against Boise State and this weekend it’s the basketball team’s turn to wear some alternates. Both the men and women play this weekend in South Bend, as they’ll don “The Bend” uniforms in their games.
The men get it started tonight, as they’ll host Detroit Mercy and look to continue to get its 2025-26 season started on the right foot. As for the women, we’ll have to wait a few more days to see them wearing the special uniforms, as on Sunday they’ll host Chicago State.
It is going to be another fun weekend in South Bend, it all starts tonight with the men’s basketball team, the the football team takes on Navy on Saturday, and the women wrap it up on Sunday. You have to wonder if the football team might have something up their sleeves.
