Adelaide and much of South Australia are set for a run of showers and cooler conditions this week, according to the Bureau of Meteorology.
Today’s forecast for Adelaide includes a top of 19 degrees with a 70 per cent chance of rain, and falls between 0 and 3 millimetres expected.
Tuesday will begin with the chance of early showers before clearing to a sunnier afternoon, with temperatures ranging from 10 to 19 degrees.
Wednesday is shaping up as the week’s standout – clear, sunny, and warmer, reaching 24 degrees after a crisp morning low of 7. Light winds will shift from west to northwesterly as the day progresses.
By Thursday, showers will return, first in the west before spreading statewide later in the day. Temperatures will range between 14 and 24 degrees, with similar conditions forecast into Friday.
Across regional South Australia, agricultural areas can expect fluctuating temperatures and isolated showers as a cold front moves east midweek, followed by a low-pressure system likely to bring more rain and possible thunderstorms, particularly in the northwest by Thursday.
The Bureau has also issued a Sheep Graziers Warning for the Mount Lofty Ranges, Kangaroo Island, Murraylands, and the Upper and Lower South East districts. Cold conditions, rain, and strong southwesterly winds pose a risk to lambs and sheep exposed to the elements.
