Jakob Poeltl scores season-high 20 points

Poeltl posted 20 points (7-10 FG, 6-6 FT), seven rebounds, three assists and two steals in Thursday’s win over the Cavaliers. After a slow start to the season, the veteran center has now recorded back-to-back double-doubles prior to Thursday and set a new season high in scoring with this performance.

Over his last three games, Poeltl is averaging 14.7 points, 9.0 rebounds, 2.0 assists, 1.3 steals and 1.0 block while shooting an excellent 76.2 percent from the field. He’s trending back toward his preseason value and will look to continue the momentum Saturday against Indiana.
