Multi-vehicle crash, fire blocks Madison Beltline lanes at Todd Drive

MADISON, Wis. (WMTV) – The Madison Fire Department is warning drivers to expect delays after a crash between multiple vehicles and a fire along the Madison Beltline at Todd Drive.
A WisDOT camera showed a vehicle in flames, and traffic at a standstill.

The crash caused all westbound lanes at Todd Drive to close, and the two left eastbound lanes were also closed.
As of 12:15 p.m., the two left lanes of US 12/18 eastbound and westbound remained closed.

Madison Fire Department said no one has been taken to the hospital.
Firefighters have put out the vehicle fire.

MFD said drivers should expect delays in the westbound lanes as police investigate the crash. The eastbound lanes may also experience delays because of debris from the crash.
WisDOT said it expects the road to have delays for over two hours.

Authorities are investigating the cause of the crash.
