Bristol Rovers sign striker Callum Morton

“I think this is exactly what I’ve needed, the platform to go out there and show what I can do and be myself again. I want to use this deal to put myself in a good position going forward and help the Club out too.
“It’s a quick turnaround with the game on Saturday against Notts County and, for me, playing again has been a long time coming. It’s been a while since I’ve been involved in a game and I’m looking forward to getting myself back out there, pulling on this shirt and playing in front of the Bristol Rovers fans.”
Morton started his career in the Yeovil Town academy, earning a move to West Bromwich Albion one month after scoring a brace against the Baggies in an FA Youth Cup fixture.
The striker enjoyed his first taste of senior football in the 2018/19 season on loan at National League team Braintree Town, scoring five goals in 14 appearances, including a hat-trick against Barnet.
