Snowplows continue to clear snow off roads in Quincy

QUINCY (WGEM) – On Saturday, snowplows from Quincy Central Services were out from 5 a.m. to 11 p.m.
Kevin McClean, director of Quincy Central Services, said that the snow over the weekend was really heavy snow to move, causing the large pile-ups on the side of the roads. They are currently working to remove those.
“[We plan to] clear what snow falls today and tonight, and continue to push everything back to the curbs and try to clean stuff up the best we can. And then we will start again tomorrow, with the final clean up, hopefully,” said McClean.
McClean warned that even though the roads look clear to make sure to drive safe. They also have some new drivers at Central Services and McClean said that if you have any issues to call them and they will resolve it the best they can.
