For Jayson Tatum, his world revolves around basketball and his kids. The Celtics’ power forward recently spoke about his son Deuce and how desperately he wants to replicate LeBron James and Bronny James. During his recent appearance on Morris Podcast, Jayson said, “He turned eight, Deuce turned eight on Saturday. I’m 27, it’s like damn can I play 10 more years? I can easily do that. So if it works out it would be cool.”During an exclusive interview with People back in September 2025, Jayson Tatum opened up on his recovery, his family, and most importantly, how his kids have helped him deal with one of the worst times of his life. He highlighted how Deuce, his son, gave a befitting reply to him after asking him about his comeback. Jayson said, “Dumb question, of course. I really needed that. There have been plenty of moments during this when I doubted myself. My son thinks I can do anything. He always would make noises at and try to touch it when he saw it. Dylan got to nap a bunch on Daddy’s chest on the couch.”Tatum further added, “It’s been a long journey. I’m on the road to getting back. And it’s the hardest I’ve ever worked in my life.”With movement limited, Jayson Tatum often had 14-month-old Dylan sleep on his chest. Tatum later shared that during moments when he feared he might never return to the basketball court, the unwavering encouragement from his children became his strongest motivation. Also Read: Boston Celtics star Jayson Tatum keeps comeback hopes alive after suffering brutal Achilles tear in May 2025
