The game was back-and-forth early. Tuckahoe took the lead as quarterback Connor Brice took it from 6 yards out, and the two point conversion was good to make it 8-0. Tioga would respond, however, through Logan Bellis, and it would be 8-6, and that was how the first quarter ended.
In the second quarter, it was Brice again for the team from Section I, using his legs once again, and after the PAT was good, they would lead 15-6. Once Tioga got the ball back, they would respond again, as Jackson Bombard his Kadin Cole for a 34 yard touchdown, and it would be 15-12 Tuckahoe.
After getting a stop on 4th down, the Section IV champs would drive the field again, and take the lead to enter the half through the legs of Bellis, 18-15.
Right out of halftime, Tioga would drive the length of the field and punch it in through their start running back once again to extend their lead to 26-15.

After a stop on each side, and following a Tioga punt that would go into the end zone for a touchback, the Tuckahoe quarterback would do it with his legs again for 80 yards, cutting into the deficit, and making it 26-23 heading into the final frame.
The next score would come from who else, Logan Bellis, as he was able to get the edge from 23 yards out and score, extending the teams lead once again to 34-23. Tuckahoe would respond, however, on a 4th down handoff to Declan Connolly when he took it 43 yards to make it 34-31 with a completed two point conversion.
With 58 seconds left in the game, it would be sealed, as Bellis would score his 5th of the day from 16 yards out to make it 42-31, and that would be the ball game.
