Kirk gives Jays lead in Game 3 with second World Series homer

Catcher Alejandro Kirk showed off his power in the fourth inning of Game 3 of the 2025 World Series, hitting a three-run homer off Los Angeles Dodgers starter Tyler Glasnow to give the Toronto Blue Jays a 3-2 lead.
The blast scored Vladimir Guerrero Jr. and Bo Bichette.
Guerrero Jr. opened the inning with a walk and then went first to third when Bichette reached on an error by Dodgers second baseman Tommy Edman.
The round-tripper was Kirk’s second home run of the World Series – he also went deep in the Blue Jays’ 11-4 victory in Game 1.
With five home runs in this postseason, Kirk has tied Cal Raleigh (2025) and Sandy Alomar Jr. (1997) for most by a catcher in a single playoff run.
The 26-year-old hit a career-high 15 home runs during the regular season, and drove in a personal-best 76 runs.
