5 things to do this weekend in Paris

In the blink of an eye, the week is coming to an end, and the weekend is already on the horizon. It’s time to take out your finest coats and brave the autumn chill as you venture out of your cocoon. Outside, Paris Art Week is in full swing: exhibitions, parties, pop-ups… now’s the perfect time to enjoy its final moments. Discover what the city has in store for you this weekend.

Where to eat: Chez Arcane 17

October has that special way of awakening appetites. And Paris, true to itself, has once again managed to add a few new tables to its already saturated dining scene. Among these newcomers, Arcane 17 quietly stands out in Le Marais as an already noteworthy address. Behind this name borrowed from the Marseille tarot lies a project led by Ivann Laur and Pablo Escriva. In the kitchen, chef Sophie Leger offers a Catalan-Basque cuisine built around seasonal products and dishes to share. Anchovy pintxos, charred peppers, aged meats, fresh fish of the day… The menu evolves throughout the day, with more generous plates served at lunchtime. Designed as a discreet gem by the Betyle studio, the space plays with textures, blending dark wood, artisanal ceramics, and custom-made furniture. As night falls, the lights dim and cocktails extend the experience around small plates to share. And when it comes to the bill: lunch won’t break the bank, but come evening, it’s best not to arrive empty-handed. Prices align, unsurprisingly, with those of the neighborhood, reflecting the refined dishes and the carefully curated setting.

To discover: The Contributions Festival

As part of Paris Art Week, the biennial festival CONTRIBUTIONS returns through October 24 with five exhibitions spread across Paris. Conceived by Anna Caradeuc and Élise Daunay, this year’s edition explores the relationship between design and music, bringing together designers, artists, and musicians from diverse scenes. Each installation, designed in situ, is accompanied by an original sound creation conceived as an extension of the objects on display. Highlights include the studded leather pieces of Emily Thurman in dialogue with a composition by Kevin Morby, a sound library by Nifemi Marcus-Bello, and parchment works by Pauline Esparon infused with the ethereal tones of Michelle Blades. An open and accessible journey inviting visitors to rethink design through the prism of listening.

Where to have fun: At Le Relais Distance x Saucony

From Friday to Sunday, Saucony and Distance are launching Le Relais, a pop-up space located right across from the Distance store in the 3rd arrondissement. The event marks the release of the Endorphin Speed 5 Distance, a collaboration blending cutting-edge technology and radical aesthetics inspired by the graphic world of Ettore Sottsass. Designed as a hybrid space—half sports café, half running-style lab—Le Relais blurs the lines between performance and lifestyle. Inside, an immersive scenography, collector’s items, and a pair conceived as a manifesto: neon lights, co-branded packaging, printed messages, even the shoe bag—nothing is left to chance. Beyond a simple drop, it’s a way of rethinking running today: between aesthetics, attention to detail, and cultural phenomenon.

Where to shop: At Arpenteur

We discovered it last weekend during its pop-up at Monocle, and it instantly earned a spot among our seasonal must-haves. Founded in 2011 by Marc Asseily and Laurent Bourven, Arpenteur cultivates a rigorous and timeless aesthetic halfway between workwear, outerwear, and sporty silhouettes. Designed and made in France, their garments follow a local and controlled approach, far from the logic of fast-paced seasonal cycles. Installed for three days in Monocle’s new boutique on Rue Bachaumont, the brand presented a selection from its Autumn-Winter 2025 collection: technical wool coats, quilted jackets, clean-cut trousers, and a few exclusive pieces unavailable from Parisian retailers. A rare appearance in Paris, true to the label’s image: precise, discreet, and committed to a certain idea of well-crafted clothing.

Where to party: With Edging

Created by Crystallmess, a Paris-based DJ and artist, Edging is a club night that plays on tension—between slow build-ups, sonic release, and zones of friction. For this new edition, scheduled for Friday, October 24 at La Station – Gare des Mines, she shares the decks with a carefully curated lineup: Jeune Morty, Renoi Terrible, and Hey Bony, for a musical journey blending rap, techno, bass music, and hybrid sounds. Born from a desire to challenge traditional club formats, the night reflects Crystallmess’s ethos: crossing aesthetics, creating spaces of sonic diversity, and opening nightlife to new narratives.
