Strictly Come Dancing’s Amber Davies has spoken out over romance gossip surrounding herself and co-star, Nikita Kuzmin.
Amber, 29, who first shot to fame after winning Love Island, is currently in a relationship with Ben Joyce, but rumours have circulated over her and Nikita ‘getting close’ as of late.
Nikita, 27, is dating model, Lauren Jaine, at the moment, but viewers went wild after Amber and Nikita almost smooched towards the end of their Argentine tango routine earlier in the competition.
It left many wondering whether they would be this season’s couple to fall to the Strictly curse, however, Amber has since made her position very clear on the rumours.

Addressing the gossip, she said: “The only good thing is Ben is not a****. So I feel like I can brush it off as it is not affecting us in any way which is nice.
“I mean he is horizontal Ben. I love Lauren, Nikita’s girlfriend so much. I text her all the time. All day, every day.”
Amber continued, confessing how Lauren actually “spends more time” with her than her actually boyfriend.
She told The Sun: “Lauren spends more time with me than her fella. She actually came into my dressing room before she went to see Nikita [the other day]. I have stolen her!”
Amber was announced as a replacement of Dani Dyer on Strictly after she sadly announced she had fractured her ankle.
The ex-Love Islander said: “This has been the craziest 24 hours of my life. I’ve watched Strictly with my family since I was younger and to now be part of the show is a dream come true.

“I’m going to give it my all and I am sending Dani well wishes for a speedy recovery. I hope I do her proud.”
Dani shared a departing note which read: “I had a fall on Friday in rehearsals and landed funny.
“I thought I had rolled my foot but it swelled up badly over the weekend and… it turns out I have fractured my ankle.
“Apparently doing the quickstep on a fracture is not advisable (!!) and the doctors have said I am not allowed to dance so l’ve had to pull out of the show.”
She added: “I am so going to miss dancing with Nikita but will of course be watching closely and cheering all the couples on.”
