After a game 6 loss to the Los Angeles Dodgers, Toronto Blue Jays manager John Schneider announced an injury update on catcher Alejandro Kirk.

Toronto had a great chance in the 9th inning to get back in the game when Kirk was hit by a pitch directly on his hand and left the game.

Myles Straw came into the game to pinch run for Kirk after he left with his hand injury.

After the game, Schneider told reporters that Kirk will be getting an X-Ray done on his hand but for right now it seems more precautionary.

The Blue Jays do not seem to worried for right now but will not be sure of Kirk’s status until the results come back which will likely be announced ahead of game 7 tomorrow evening.
If Kirk is unable to play, the Blue Jays will be forced to turn to Tyler Heineman which could cause some serious problems.
The Blue Jays and Dodgers face off tomorrow night for game 7 at 8 PM ET at the Rogers Centre.
