Baseer Ali expresses disappointment with Bigg Boss 19 makers
Baseer Ali’s unexpected removal from Salman Khan hosted Bigg Boss 19 has sparked intense debate among the show’s followers. Amid the rising backlash against the producers on social media, rumors circulated that Baseer was offered a negative lead role in Ekta Kapoor’s Naagin 7. However, Baseer has dismissed these claims, labeling them as mere ‘internet rumors’.
Baseer Ali refutes Naagin 7 rumors
In response to inquiries about any offers from the channel or Ekta’s Balaji Telefilms, Baseer informed India Today, “If there were any discussions happening, I would have definitely received a call from the producers. The channel has not contacted me either.”
Regarding his exit, the former Roadies participant expressed that he was ‘truly taken aback’. “It was quite disheartening, but I am glad to return to my own environment, surrounded by my people. Honestly, I felt out of place in the Bigg Boss 19 house. The caliber of the contestants and the individuals this time did not resonate with my vibe. Nevertheless, it was an overall positive experience.”
‘No one came to see me’
Additionally, he claimed that he was poorly treated by the Bigg Boss 19 crew, as no one from the production team came to check on him after his eviction. He recounted, “It was quite shocking that they removed me blindfolded and made me wait in the vanity. They did offer me tea and arranged for a car to take me home. Neither the channel, the JioCinema team, nor the producers came to see me. That was really disappointing because I dedicated two months to this show. I have participated in other shows before, but I have never been treated like this.”
Baseer remarked that many former contestants were welcomed by high-ranking officials and questioned what he might have done to upset anyone.
In an unexpected double eviction, Baseer and Nehal Chudasama were removed from Bigg Boss 19 on Sunday.
