Miami Heat star Bam Adebayo is questionable to return to Wednesday’s game against the Denver Nuggets due to a foot injury.
Adebayo played eight minutes in the first half before subbing out with the injury. It was not immediately clear when he was hurt.

The multi-time All-Star recorded two points and one rebound before exiting the game. If he does not return, the Heat will face a tough test against Nikola Jokic and the Nuggets’ offense without their own top defensive talent on the floor.
For as long as Adebayo remains sidelined, Kel’el Ware likely absorbs more minutes with a larger offensive role after shining in the veteran’s absence last season. Miami’s center depth remains rather thin though, so other options at the five are quite limited aside from rookie Vladislav Goldin.
