WWE NXT is set to air live tonight, October 21, 2025, at 8 PM ET / 7 PM CT on The CW Network. Tonight’s broadcast will feature a TNA X-Division Championship match, two WWE Speed Championship tournament matches, and a major contract signing for the upcoming Halloween Havoc premium live event.
The show will be headlined by the official contract signing for the NXT Championship match at Halloween Havoc. The new NXT Champion, Ricky Saints, and the former champion, Trick Williams, will be in the same ring to make their title match official.
Also on the show, the TNA X-Division Championship will be defended on an NXT program as Leon Slater puts his title on the line against Channing “Stacks” Lorenzo.
Two matches for the WWE Speed Championship tournament are also scheduled. SmackDown’s Axiom will return to NXT to face Evolve’s Sean Legacy. In the other tournament match, Jasper Troy will take on TNA’s Zachary Wentz. The victors of these two matches will then face each other, with the winner of that bout advancing to challenge El Grande Americano for the Speed Title at NXT Halloween Havoc.
In the tag team division, former NXT Tag Team Champions Hank Walker and Tank Ledger are set to battle OTM’s Bronco Nima and Lucien Price. Nima and Price recently returned to NXT and attacked Hank & Tank during a Triple Threat Tag Team Match.
Finally, there will be an update on the status of NXT Women’s North American Champion and Women’s Speed Champion, Sol Ruca. Ruca suffered an injury and it’s expected that more details will be provided to fans tonight. In a video posted to social media, NXT General Manager Ava confirmed she would be in the ring with Ruca, stating that “unforeseen circumstances have come up” and that Ruca will address the NXT universe live tonight.
