Public encouraged to attend Remembrance Day ceremony

Residents will come together to pay tribute to Canada’s fallen soldiers during ceremonies organized by the Royal Canadian Legion
The public is reminded to attend Remembrance Day ceremonies today at the GFL Memorial Gardens at 11 a.m.
To participate in the wreath laying at the Queen Street cenotaph, join the parade departing GFL Memorial Gardens at 9:45 a.m. sharp, arriving at the cenotaph for 10:00 a.m.
The parade will then proceed back to GFL Memorial Gardens for the 11 a.m. Remembrance Day service.
The Royal Canadian Legion’s national poppy campaign is supported through donations, assisting veterans and their families. The Legion gratefully acknowledges the contributions of volunteers, the executive, and community members.
