For many, the return of the Coca-Cola Christmas Truck signals the start of the holiday season – and the wait is almost over.
Coca-Cola have announced the first details of their iconic Christmas celebrations this year, which will see their infamous red and illuminated truck bring festive cheer across the country.
This year will actually mark 15 years since the truck made its UK debut – and will be visiting 15 locations across the nation to celebrate the occasion with a new ‘Refresh Your Holidays’ campaign.
At each destination, the Truck Tour will invite visitors to explore a magical winter wonderland where the iconic red truck will be dazzling under a canopy of twinkling lights. There will be plenty of selfie opportunities, as well as the chance to take part in a range of festive games to win prizes.

More than 53,000 attendees headed to the tour last year, which included stops outside the Ash Tree Farm pub in Ashton-under-Lyne and The Trafford Centre. This year’s locations have not yet been unveiled.
This year, the Truck will once again be held in partnership with FareShare, who redistribute surplus food to nearly 8,000 charities and community groups that turn it into meals. This year, the partnership aims to provide one million meals this winter.
Graham Kelly, Head of Fundraising at FareShare said: “We are so grateful to Coca-Cola for their continued support for FareShare. This incredibly generous donation means this festive season the equivalent of one million meals will reach people and communities in need.
“Every day, food from FareShare reaches over 8,000 charities across the UK, from after-school and community lunch clubs to homelessness shelters, providing nutritious meals alongside access to vital services. Coca-Cola’s support for FareShare is instrumental in strengthening communities and improving lives in every region of the UK. Together, we can create lasting change, one meal at a time.”

As part of Coca-Cola’s Christmas packaging, there will be brand new festive designs on packs, whilst there will also be opportunities for people to scan QR codes for a chance to win incredible surprises and festive treats.
Elodie Peribere, Senior Marketing Director for Coca-Cola Great Britain and Ireland, said: “Coca-Cola remains synonymous with Christmas, and we’re delighted to bring back our iconic Truck Tour. This year, we’re encouraging everyone to ‘Refresh Your Holidays’ and take a well-deserved pause to create uplifting moments with loved ones.
“Our continued partnership with FareShare, with our donation equivalent to 1 million meals, is incredibly important to us, and we hope to make this Christmas a little more meaningful for thousands of people across the country.”
