Is Fred again… about to play a show in Vancouver?

Who knew that the Max Mara storefront in South Granville could incite an absolute litany of social media comments, questions, and excitement? That became the case on Saturday night, as world famous electronic artist Fred Again posted an Instagram story in which he appeared to drive by the store on his way into Downtown Vancouver.
Fred again… (legal name Frederick John Philip Gibson) announced his 10 Weeks 10 Songs 10 Cities project in September. The tour began on October 3 in Glasgow, with the show and venue location announced the weekend prior for each week. Cities visited so far include Glasgow, Brussels, Madrid, Lyon, Dublin, Toronto, and Chicago.
Rumours have been circulating for some time that the immensely popular producer would play in Vancouver. If the internet speculation is valid, it appears that time has come.
On his recent Instagram stories, Fred again… posted a customs paper showing he had arrived in Canada before posting a video that appears to show him heading down South Granville in a car. Fans think that this likely means Fred again… will be playing a show in Vancouver next Saturday, November 29.
Fred again… is one of the most popular electronic music artists in the world and won Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 2024 Grammys. His NPR Tiny Desk performance is often lauded as one of the most original performances in the concert series’ history.
