ASU’s Kenny Dillingham, Raleek Brown on Sun Devils’ win over Colorado
Arizona State football traveled to Colorado and picked up a win, but it was far from easy. It took a career night by running back Raleek Brown.
Arizona State wide receiver Jordyn Tyson left the Friday night, Nov. 28 Territorial Cup game against Arizona with an injury, after making his second catch of the game for 17 yards in the second quarter.
Tyson, a consensus top-10 NFL draft pick after this season and potentially the first wide receiver who could be chosen, returned to the game for a few plays after his injury but left again. He didn’t go back in the game before halftime, and after halftime stood on the ASU sideline without his helmet.
Tyson’s 17-yard catch was a difficult one, but he was able to snatch a Jeff Sims throw out of the air while being tightly covered. After the play, Tyson stayed on the ground momentarily, then got up and walked off the field in apparent frustration.
Tyson had missed time earlier this season with a hamstring injury, and went straight to an exercise bike on the ASU sideline. He was injured last season the rivalry game at Arizona and missed the Big 12 championship game and the Peach Bowl College Football Playoff.
Tyson took part in pregame warmups for ASU and looked mobile in running routes and catching balls.
