#4. Who did Uncle Howdy target on WWE SmackDown?

Solo Sikoa and his MFT have regained momentum on the blue brand since Tama Tonga returned to the Stamford-based promotion following an injury, and the group debuted a new look. Later, Sikoa entered into a feud with Sami Zayn and had a traditional 5-on-5 elimination tag team match to close the show.

After The Street Champion defeated Sami Zayn’s team and stood tall as the sole survivor, Uncle Howdy returned with The Wyatt Sicks to the blue brand and hit a Sister Abigail on the former United States Champion. The two factions previously had a standoff in the middle of the ring, and it’s clear that Howdy has selected his target on WWE SmackDown.

#3. Which teams have the advantage heading into WWE Survivor Series: WarGames?

WWE is set to host two WarGames matches in San Diego, and both teams are filled with some of the biggest names in the industry under the new regime. Moreover, The Vision has the advantage heading into the steel structure as Drew McIntyre and Logan Paul defeated The Usos on Monday Night RAW.

On the latest and the go-home edition of Friday Night SmackDown, Charlotte Flair proved to the world why she is The Queen when she scored the advantage for her team by defeating Asuka in a one-on-one match. It’ll be interesting to see which teams leave San Diego with a win.

#2. Rhea Ripley reunited with her long-time tag team partner on WWE SmackDown

Rhea Ripley returned to her roots as a performer in 2024 when she and Damian Priest were betrayed by The Judgment Day and were kicked out of the villainous faction. The Terror Twins, Ripley and Priest, remained a unit for a while before The Archer of Infamy was moved to Friday Night SmackDown.

On the latest and the go-home edition of WWE SmackDown, Damian Priest was confronted by Zelina Vega. After the former Women’s United States Champion left with a message, Priest reunited with Ripley, and Mami teased a potential reunion with her former partner following WarGames.

#1. Ex-WWE star accuses John Cena

John Cena is two matches away from in-ring retirement, and The Franchise Player has had several ups and downs in the Stamford-based promotion as a performer. In 2010, the multi-time WWE World Champion was in a lengthy feud with The Nexus, and the infamous story states that Cena decided not to put the group over.

Speaking on his YouTube channel, David Otunga, former Tag Team Champion with John Cena, accused The Franchise Player of crossing a line with the new talent in the name of receipt and hit him with a steel chair.

“Cena hit me with that chair, I’m telling you right now, that was one of the most painful things I felt inside a wrestling ring. I thought, wait a minute? That that can’t be right, that must have been a mistake. Then he did it again. Look, I was supposed to be in there for four or five shots. I took maybe one and a half and I was like, uh-uh, absolutely not. I rolled out of the ring,” Otunga said.

Otunga further claimed that the multi-time United States Champion was furious and took it out on the other members of Nexus in the middle of the ring.

“Boy, when I got away he was tearing Tarver up. He was tearing Tarver up. Tarver didn’t get out as quickly as I did, I think Tarver thought he was tough and tried to take it, but one of those shots showed how stiff it was, and actually fractured Tarver’s elbow. Like he legitimately was hurt,” Otunga said.

As of now, John Cena has not responded to any of the allegations made against him.
