Travelers can score discounts on hotels and airfare this week during the return of Travel Deal Tuesday.

  • 12 Black Friday and Cyber Monday travel deals across New England

Travel Deal Tuesday, taking place on Dec. 2, offers more deals than Black Friday and Cyber Monday, according to Lindsay Schwimer, consumer travel expert for travel app Hopper.

“Three times more trips were planned on Travel Deal Tuesday last year than on Black Friday and Cyber Monday,” Schwimer said.

Hopper, which has an office in Boston, founded Travel Deal Tuesday in 2017 when the company discovered that the Tuesday after Thanksgiving was the best day to book travel.

Last year, many Hopper customers booked last-minute December trips, according to the company, with 43% booking flights in December and half of those booking hotel stays choosing stays in December.

Christmas week deals out of Boston on Travel Deal Tuesday include roundtrip airfare to Orlando for $250, to Miami for $298, to Las Vegas for $328, and to San Juan, Puerto Rico for $380, Schwimer said.

Airlines participating in Travel Deal Tuesday so far include American Airlines, Avianca, British Airways, French Bee, Singapore Airlines, and Viva Aerobus, she said, with even more expected to participate on Tuesday.

The Hopper app and website will also offer hotel deals of up to 50% off in destinations such as Las Vegas, Florida, Nashville, Sonoma, Palm Springs, the Cayman Islands, the Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico, Schwimer said. Participating hotels include Club Wyndham, Margaritaville Vacation Club, Shell Vacation Club, Grand Oasis Cancun, and more.

“If you are eyeing a last-minute vacation for the holidays or you’re thinking of something for 2026, this is going to be the best day of the season to book travel,” said schwimer. “You are going to see the lowest prices and best deals on really popular destinations domestically and internationally. It’s a really great day to take advantage of lower prices and great deals.”

Hopper recommends setting a “flight watch” for destinations of interest on the Hopper app so the app will send notifications on Tuesday as soon as deals to those places are detected.

Needham-based Tripadvisor, a partner of Hopper, will also offer hotel deals of up to 40 percent off plus $50 off travel experiences, she said.

The following are some of the airline deals that will be offered at Logan Airport:
