Flurry of Seahawks make top 10 in first round of Pro Bowl voting results

As should be the case, Jaxon Smith-Njigba is in first place in the NFL for votes at wide receiver (and second in overall votes among all positions). Other top five placements include Byron Murphy II in 2nd place in votes for defensive tackles (1st in the NFC) and Grey Zabel in 3rd place in votes among guards (2nd in the NFC).

Rounding out the offense is Sam Darnold who is 10th in votes in the NFL (6th in the NFC) for quarterbacks. At Center, Olu Oluwatimi is 10th (6th in the NFC). Lastly, Robbie Ouzts is 10th in the NFL (4th in the NFC) for the fullback position. Some curious omissions on offense are offensive tackle Charles Cross and tight end AJ Barner.

On defense, for the defensive end position, Leonard Williams is 9th (5th in the NFC), while DeMarcus Lawrence is 10th (6th in the NFC). At outside linebacker, Uchenna Nwosu is 10th (5th in the NFC). Lastly, free safety Coby Bryant is 6th in the league (5th in the NFC). The Seahawks defense has been playing spectacular this year, so there are many names who could be omissions on this initial batch of results. However, the omission of linebacker Ernest Jones stands out as the worst.

Lastly, on special teams. Kicker Jason Myers is in 3rd in the NFL (2nd in the NFC). Punter Michael Dickson is in 10th (6th in the NFC). Long snapper Chris Stoll is 4th (4th in the NFC). And special teamer, Brady Russell is 4th (3rd in the NFC).
