How To Watch Orlando Magic-San Antonio Spurs, Lineups, Injury Report, Betting Lines & More

The last time these teams played in Orlando, Victor Wembanyama missed a last-second shot after Paolo Banchero put the Magic ahead for good in a 112-111 victory on Feb. 8. Nearly two months later, San Antonio was swept at home for the second consecutive season.

As the 2025-26 season continues into December, both teams are well over .500 and in the midst of strong stretches of success despite the absence of the stars that helped decide the encounter at Kia Center 10 months ago. Both Banchero and Wembanyama have already been ruled out, as has reigning NBA Rookie of the Year Stephon Castle.

The San Antonio Spurs (14-6) visit the Orlando Magic (13-8) to open a four-game road trip after picking up a 126-119 comeback win over the Memphis Grizzlies on Tuesday. Harrison Barnes led the way with 31 points, his highest-scoring effort for San Antonio in his two seasons with the franchise.

These teams will play once again on Feb. 1 and are both alive in the NBA Cup, which continues next week with the knockout stages.

Orlando has won four consecutive meetings between these teams, registering back-to-back sweeps. The Magic have won five of six in the series, having last lost to the Pels on March 14, 2023. The Spurs had won the previous five matchups, all crammed into a period between 2020-21.

San Antonio hosted the last encounter on April 1 but was outscored 37-21 in the fourth quarter of a 116-105 loss. Wembanyama missed that game with his blood clot issue, while Barnes led the way with 24 points. Banchero and Franz Wagner each scored 24 for the Magic, while Kentavious Caldwell-Pope added 23.
