Ben Nelson comes straight back into the Leicester City starting line-up with the young centre-back replacing Wout Faes at Derby.

Nelson has missed the last three games with an ankle injury he picked up at Norwich but after proving his fitness in midweek, he comes straight back into the 11 to partner Jannik Vestergaard.

It’s one of four changes to the side that lost to Sheffield United. Also coming in are fit-again number one goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk, midfielder Oliver Skipp and striker Jordan Ayew.

Skipp, who did well as a makeshift centre-back in the second half against the Blades, comes in to play at the base of midfield, with Harry Winks and the injured Boubakary Soumare not in the squad.

Ayew plays up front, with Daka dropped to the bench where he’s alongside a host of City youngsters.

Bade Aluko returns to the City squad after his one-game suspension, Louis Page offers midfield cover, and forward Jake Evans is included for the first time this campaign, but there’s no place for Jeremy Monga.

On the pitch, Ricardo Pereira and Luke Thomas keep their spots at full-back, Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi again play out wide, while top scorer Jordan James and Bobby De Cordova-Reid join Skipp in midfield.

City: Stolarczyk; Ricardo, Nelson, Vestergaard, L Thomas; Skipp, James, De Cordova-Reid; Fatawu, Ayew, Mavididi. Subs: Begovic, Choudhury, Aluko, Faes, Page, S Thomas, Evans, Carranza, Daka.
