Rockin’1000, the global collective known for bringing hundreds of musicians together on one stage, will make its UK debut at AO Arena. For this special indoor show, 300 performers will unite for a large-scale rock concert unlike anything previously staged in the UK.
The event will see guitarists, bassists, drummers, keyboard players, singers and an orchestral-style section play classic rock anthems in perfect sync. Rockin’1000 has already filled stadiums in 20 countries and built an enormous online following, with hundreds of millions of views across its performances.
The project first gained worldwide attention in 2015, when 1,000 musicians in Cesena, Italy came together to play a Foo Fighters song in a viral video that sparked the creation of the now global movement.
Musicians of all abilities can apply to take part through the Rockin’1000 website. Successful applicants will receive instructions, tutorials and event updates through the official app. With limited places available for the Manchester arena set-up, early registration is strongly recommended.
