Arizona State at Gonzaga: How to watch final non-conference game of the season

One more game until conference play begins.

Molly Miller has already clinched the best start in program history, but her Sun Devil squad can accomplish another impressive feat today: go undefeated in the non-conference schedule. After a clutch overtime win against Oregon State on Sunday, Arizona State now travels to Spokane to face Gonzaga.

While not as much of a powerhouse as their male counterparts, the Bulldogs have still been a force to be reckoned with. Last season snapped a streak of eight straight appearances in the NCAA tournament despite going 24-11 with a 17-3 conference record.

So far, Gonzaga is 6-4 this season, having stumbled early on when they dropped four in a five game stretch. Since then, though, they’ve ripped off three straight wins, and the Bulldogs look to be getting back into a groove.

That should keep this matchup as an important proving ground for the 12-0 Sun Devils. A win here would mean more than just finishing the non-conference schedule undefeated; it would signal that Arizona State is capable of playing with the big dogs right before the start of conference play.
