A cart was quickly brought onto the field, and Skattebo was taken off to cheers from the Eagles crowd at Lincoln Financial Field.
Skattebo, the Giants’ fourth-round pick, was having a strong rookie season. He had 3 carries for 12 yards through the first quarter and into the second.
Skattebo scored the Giants’ only touchdown to this point, on an 18-yard reception from QB Jaxson Dart.
Tyrone Tracy is expected to take Skattebo’s place in the Giants’ backfield.
