‘Love is Blind’ stars Alexa and Brennon Lemieux announce divorce

The pod squad is mourning a rare success story.
“Love is Blind” star Alexa Lemieux took to Instagram Wednesday to announce her split from fellow cast member Brennon Lemieux. The pair got engaged and married during Season 3 of the Netflix reality show.
“After much reflection and many heartfelt conversations, we have made the difficult decision to end our marriage. This choice was not made lightly, and it comes with a great deal of care, respect, and appreciation for the time we’ve shared,” Lemieux, 31, wrote alongside a photo of the couple. The pair share a 1-year-old daughter, Vienna.
“We entered this relationship with love and optimism, and we leave it with gratitude for the experiences that shaped us and the growth we each gained along the way,” she continued. “While our journey as a married couple is coming to an end, we remain supportive of one another, devoted to our daughter, and committed to navigating this transition with compassion.”
The caption concluded: “We kindly ask for privacy as we move forward and focus on our individual paths while keeping our precious daughter as our top priority.”
With the dissolution of their marriage, Alexa and Brennon bring the success rate of Season 3, shot in Dallas, to zero. They were one of two couples from the dating experiment, which allows singles to meet and get engaged sight unseen, to say yes at the altar. The other pair, Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton, announced their split earlier this year.
The most recent season of the show, shot in Denver, marked the first round of episodes in which no couple tied the knot.
